Before we moved to the heart of a rain forest, we were big city event planners with the privilege of serving on the national and international stage. We wined and dined fine guests, we helped in raising millions of dollars for important causes, brought tough issues much needed attention, celebrated and most importantly, entertained all.
Working out of Toronto, New York and Miami in the 2000’s, our work helped break attendance records at major festivals, we won awards for producing the best gala events in Canada and built great relationships. Still, something was missing.
We headed West and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest’s identity. The mountains, ocean, trails and more adventurous lifestyle.
We’ll never forget the the East - it’s a strong part of our identity as people. We are in a sense a product of the rich culture of the East and the strong identity of the West.

We moved our family from the grid of Toronto to the wonders of the rainforest on the Sunshine Coast in search of a more inspiring life, away from the chaos of the city. Today we are surrounded by artisans, organic farmers, architects, trail builders, beekeepers. designers, authors, scientists and a nucleus of people that find inspiration to make and live interesting lives.
We started Details Event Design to share the coastal experience we love. We bring focus to gorgeous natural settings, and the incredible communities with whom we curate the best of local offerings in taste and experience.
Anne-Marie is an award-winning event producer and a relationship builder. She loves engaging with people and bringing them together for interesting events. She is currently taking psychology courses through EdX as she loves the way the mind works. Her love of people and appreciation for beautiful design show in her work.
Cameron is an artist, maker and a hacker at heart. He’s been a filmmaker for over 20 years, has produced numerous commercials and music videos, and is currently directing his first feature documentary. Cameron's event background runs back to the age of 15, when he produced his first music event in Toronto, which sold out for 1700 people. He has produced some of the world's most recognizable events. He can handle, organize and execute on a large number of details which translates to much lower production costs, which is crucial to virtually all events going from great to extraordinary.
